The tour begins with a drive through the fields and pastures and into the mountains of the 1,400-acre farm, during which you can see the grazing horses and cattle.
The drive ends at the first platform located 700 feet above sea level where you begin the zip line experience. There are 11 different ziplines and a swinging bridge that are sure to provide excitement and fun for all. The longest zip of the 11 lines is 1,850 feet long and over 400 feet off the ground.
At Pura Aventura safety is the number one priority, so double line and double pulley safety system are used to provide optimum protection for guests of all ages. There is also an emergency break system to ensure that you have security and peace of mind while on the canopy. The tour does involve a few small hikes between platforms, during which you will often spot monkeys, iguanas, and other native wildlife. The tour is open to children over 5 years of age, and it is sure to become the highlight of your Costa Rican experience.
