After being picked up at your hotel, depart the city of Medellín in an air-conditioned van or minivan, and get ready to fly. This 4-hour tour takes you out of the urban environment and into the natural tranquility of the Arvi Nature Reserve, one of the biggest nature reserves in the region.
After a welcome beverage and 20-minute lesson from the professional guide on how to zipline, strap yourself in and zoom through the forest. There are five segments, from about 656 to 984 feet (200 to 300 meters) long and about 65 feet (20 meters) above the ground. Zip through the lush, dense jungle and over a flowing river. In all, the ziplining lasts up to 90 minutes.
For the last adventure, rappel down a 16-foot (5-meter) cliff. If all that soaring through the air has built up an appetite, tuck into some classic Colombian fare at the on-site restaurant (own expense). Or simply take some time to stroll through the reserve. At the end of the trip, you’ll be driven back to your hotel.
