In the evening guests will have option to relax and have dinner or visit Casino with Las Vegas-style gambling and 24-hour restaurants.
Begin the next part of the journey in the morning, as you pass through the small towns of Coarsegold and Oakhurst to enter at the Southgate entrance of the park. Stop for a while at Chinquapin and Glacier Point (where most tour companies do not and cannot visit due to commercial vehicle size restrictions). Glacier Point is an overlook with a commanding view of Yosemite Valley, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls, and Yosemite’s high country, is accessible by smaller vehicles from approximately late May through October or November.
At Glacier Point, consider taking an optional hike down 4 Mile trail. Enjoy the stroll and re-unite with the group again at Yosemite Lodge in the Yosemite Valley.
Continue the ride back to Chinquapin and down to the Yosemite Valley. From the Tunnel View, get a glance at Bridalveil Falls, El Capitan, the Chapel, Sentinel Bridge, Half Dome and Yosemite Falls. We take a break here for lunch and walk to the base of Yosemite Falls. Guests can find all types of food and beverages at Yosemite Café for a reasonable price and visit the souvenir gift shops. Upon resuming, we visit the meadows in front of El Capitan to see if anyone is rock climbing.
After an extensive tour of Yosemite, re-connect with the train and enjoy the ride back to San Francisco.
