This one-day private tour takes you to Xi'an's top attractions including one of the eight Wonders of the World - Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, traditional Cave Dwellings of local peasants, and the only underground museum in China - Hanyangling Museum. Immerse yourself in a day of Chinese culture escorted by your personal guide and chauffeur.At 9:00am, your private guide will pick you up from the lobby of your downtown Xi'an hotel and drive to Terracotta Warriors & Horses Museum which is one of the Eight Wonders of the World and the largest on-site museum in China with thousands of Terracotta Warriors and Horses made by ancient Chinese more than 2,000 years ago. You will be impressed by the magnificent formations of life-sized soldiers built to guard the tomb of first Emperor of China. After the Museum, you will head to traditional Cave Dwellings of local peasants which are still in use and well preserved by local farmers to experience lifestyle of old China. Lunch is at your own expense but your guide will give you ideas and suggestions.
After lunch break, you will visit Hangyangling Museum which is also known as “JingDi’s Tomb”. The museum is located near the airport about 19 miles (30 kilometers) north of Xian City. This is a burial sight of Emperor Jingdi and his wife, Empress Wangzhi of Han Dynasty. This tomb could be dated back to 2,100 years ago. It is the only underground museum in China. After exploring the museum, you will be transferred back to your hotel around 6:00pm where this tour concludes.
