Xetutul Theme Park Admission from Guatemala City

Upon pickup from your hotel at 5:30am, you’ll be driven to Retalhuleu, located southwest of Guatemala City, not far from Lake Atitlan. Enjoy breakfast aboard the vehicle and take in the landscape as you pass towns like Amatitlán, Escuintla and Mazatenango on your 4-hour ride to Xetutul.

When you arrive at Xetutul Theme Park around 9:30am, your entry pass allows you approximately six hours to spend at Latin America’s third largest amusement park. Showcasing many architectural styles ranging from colonial to neo-classical, Xetututl is divided into unique plazas that represent the countries of France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Switzerland in addition to Guatemala.

Admire models of landmarks from across the world, including a scale replica of the Temple of the Great Jaguar located in Tikal. You’ll feel like you’re traveling the globe as you stroll past reproductions of monuments like Italy’s Trevi Fountain and the Moulin Rouge from France.

Xetutul Theme Park features a multitude of fascinating rides. For the kids and those with nostalgia for antiques, ride the double-decker carousel – the only one like it in Central America. If you desire something more daring, try Avalancha, a steel roller coaster with eight inversions – one of only six roller coasters in the world with that many upside down loops and rolls. But if Central America’s largest roller coaster is too much for the kids to handle, they’ll enjoy Choconoy – a smaller family roller coaster.

After an exhilarating time at Xetulul, depart aboard the vehicle at 3:30pm and relax on the ride back to your Guatemala City hotel.
