Enjoy this day trip to the World Heritage renowned Shirakawago from Osaka city area. Just by going to your designated meeting point in Osaka, you will be brought to your destination far away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. You will have time to enjoy walking around and shopping there as well!This is an exciting day trip which bring you to the one of the most famous World Heritages sites in Japan, Shirakawago.
Once you meet at your tour operator at your designated meeting point, you will be travelling in the comfort of a coach bus for around 4 to 5 hours and transferred to Gifu prefecture.
On the way, you can enjoy a lunchbox which will be provided on the bus. Every one and a half hours, the bus will stop at a rest station for you and your family to take a breather.
Between 12pm to 1pm, you will reach your destination of Shirakawago, the World Heritage renowned village that is made up of many famous farmhouses, "Gassho-zukuri," that represent the traditional Japanese architectural history. Gassho-zukuri refers to the building's roof which resembles two palms in the prayer position which in Japanese is called "Gassho."
You can take your time to do some shopping and walk around the village to enjoy the unique atmosphere of an older Japan for approximately 3 hours. Afterwards, you will transferred back to Osaka.
