This whale watching tour during the winter season explores the waters of southern Vancouver Island and highlights the beauty of the remarkable coastline. The wildlife is plentiful with an abundance of Sea Lion Seals and Bald Eagles, among many more marine mammals and marine bird species.
Check in time for your tour is 30-minutes prior to trip departure with one of the guest service agents that will make you aware of weather conditions and animal sightings.
Your captain will then prepare you for the west coast adventure by supplying a survival suit and safety briefing. Your crew's priority on every trip is to show and interact with whales and as many different marine mammal species and marine birds possible. The vessel is a partly covered/heated with a private washroom and maximum of 12 passengers per trip - no crowds! This ensures that every passenger on board is comfortable and has seats outside for the exhilarating ride of a life time and a warm seat inside the cabin.
It's recommended to bring food and water for the excursion and to dress for the weather. Wear an extra layer as it is cooler out on the tour. Please remember you will be provided with a survival suit and you will have a seat inside the heated cabin.
