This is an outdoor walking tour for people who love winter. This tour will take you through Chicago's prettiest spaces in the quiet chill of winter. See Chicago's best attractions during their less-busy season. You will have the use of a battery-operated heated coat to wear, if you would like. It adds another layer of warmth to a beautiful walk. The tour will begin at a local hotel where you will bundle up for a walk outside. Your first stop will be the new Maggie Daley Park and its fantastic skating ribbon. Instead of a rink, Maggie Daley Park has a skating ribbon that traverses a whole section of the park. The tour will then meander over to the beautiful (especially in winter) Millennium Park. You'll see the Bean in all of its winter glory. The skating rink in front of the Bean and the Pritzker Pavilion shows off its wintry steel.
Then, you're off to the lake. This tour takes the most beautiful walk over to Lake Michigan. Photographs will be snapped as the lake roars or calmly accepts it's frigid fate. After the lake the tour, you will return to the hotel for complimentary hot chocolate or tea. The tour is 90 minutes and is (mostly) all outdoors.
