During the day, you will visit the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Their unique facility is home to underwater viewing windows, roofless dolphin pools, a hands-on stingray beach and many other one-of-a-kind animal homes and exhibits that are truly different. You can also visit Winter, the dolphin. Her inspirational tale was chronicled in the movie Dolphin Tale.
Winter was rescued after having her tail caught in a crab trap line and was brought to the Clearwater Marina Aquarium where the animal care staff and volunteers worked around the clock to rehabilitate her. After a long struggle she lost her tail, but not her spirits! She was fitted for a prosthetic tale and became the star of her own major motion picture.
You can also ride the Jolly Trolley up to Historic Clearwater Downtown where the Winters Dolphin Tail Adventure is located. This fun and educational exhibit will take you inside the movie and takes 3D to a whole new level! Inside, you'll find re-built scenes, movie images, and a variety of actual props used in Dolphin Tale.

A stroll down the promenade brings you to the restaurant we recommend at the beach, where a lunch voucher can be redeemed for a large amount of choices, including pizza, pasta, hot or cold subs, burgers, salads, fish & chips, gyros plus more. This can be arranged if you select "with lunch" option ahead of time.
