Ulrika von Lewetzov is the patron of our winery, she was the last love of Johann Volfgang Goethe, but the love wasn´t fulfilled. Ulrika lived here in Třebívlice at the local castle and she was really popular here. People loved her. She was very vital woman and even in her 93´s she had been often riding and two years later she has died.
The first written references to growing wine were about a year 1650, when in cadastral books 52 hectares of vineyards was recorded. Since that time the wine grew continuously until the year 1900, when the hole Europe attacked Grape phylloxera which destroyed all the vineyards. In Třebívlice it was company The Chateau winery Třebívlice who renew local vineyards. Now they have 35 hectares of vineyards.
