The Galilee is a magical area that is rich in boutique wines, amazing food, and local produce. This region is a home for many Mediterranean cultures and religions: Jews, Muslims, Druze, Christian, Circassians, Baha'is, and more. In our two days culinary tour you will meet special people, great wine, and delicious food.Day 1:
Start the tour by driving to a local winery. Watch a video describing the process of producing cheese and wine, and learn how to prepare goat cheese in a practical workshop. Taste variety of boutique wines and goat cheeses and have a light dairy lunch overlooking outstanding vineyards view. 

Continue to Amirim, a vegetarian-vegan village which advocates organic farming. Walk in the paths of the herb garden, and learn about spices, teas, and healing. At the end of the tour you will have a gourmet vegan cooking workshop with a local chef in his beautiful house.  You will cook roasted Portobello mushrooms with potatoes in olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and thyme sauce, stuffed artichoke with nuts and herbs, bean noodles in Asian sauce, and more.

Spend the night in Akko, the main site on the second day of your trip.

Day 2:
The story of Old Akko tells the story of Israel and because of its outstanding universal value, the city was added by UNESCO to its World Heritage List. Walk around the colorful market, learn about local fish, vegetables, herbs, and spices, go through the halls of knights into the dark tunnels, and expose part of the many layers of history that were almost entirely preserved: the upper town - the Ottoman city and the lower town – the Crusader city. End the tour at the old port of Akko that served as a gateway to Israel over 4000 years.  Watch the fishermen and boats on the dock and enjoy the breeze and the aroma of local sea.

Continue with a cooking workshop with Chef Alaa Musa who will introduce us to the secrets of the modern Arabic cooking. Cook select dishes of fish and seafood as well as authentic Arabic dishes from his mother's kitchen.  The workshop will be concluded by a rich buffet lunch/dinner.
