Stop for a swim and enjoy a jungle walk as well.After being picked up at your Phuket hotel, you’ll head out on a drive to Phang Nga province, stopping at the Phang Nga Wildlife Breeding Center. Explore the Tone Pariwat Wildlife Sanctuary and hit the rapids on an exciting white water rafting adventure.
You’ll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and then continue on to an elephant camp. At the camp you’ll experience a 30-minute jungle trek on the back of an elephant!
Working elephants are the pride of Thailand and one of this country’s national symbols. According to current estimates there are around 3,000-4,000 wild elephants remaining in the country. Although most logging has been banned in the Kingdom, elephants are still an important mode of jungle transport as they can move through forested areas causing minimal damage.
Take a ride in a 4x4 vehicle, a walk in the jungle, or a swim in crystal-clear waters at a natural waterfall. Soft drinks, coffee, or tea are available before your return trip to Phuket.
