Pick up in Cape Town at 8am and drive to Hermanus, the whale capital of South Africa. The road takes you along scenic mountain passes and apple orchards and we arrive in Hermanus in time to catch the boat for a 2½ -hour whale watching excursion in Walker Bay. Rock whale watching follows as we enjoy lunch at around 1:30pm. Continue your drive to Stoney Point for Penguin viewing. Drop off in Cape Town at around 5:30pm.

Pick up in Cape Town at 8am and drive to Hermanus, the whale capital of South Africa. The road takes you along scenic mountain passes and apple orchards and we arrive in Hermanus in time to catch the boat for a 2½ -hour whale watching excursion in Walker Bay. Rock whale watching follows as we enjoy lunch at around 1:30pm. Continue your drive to Stoney Point for Penguin viewing. Drop off in Cape Town at around 5:30pm.After an early breakfast we leave the Mother City at 8am. You sit back and relax while you drive to the place of the Southern Right Whales. Not only will you be excited to see these massive mammals, they will also give you a display of breaching the water, wag-tailing and keep your eyes glued to the water to wait for the next display. The scenic road takes you along spectacular mountain passes, vineyards and if you are lucky, you may even spot the Blue Crane, the National Bird of South Africa. Your knowledgeable guide will fill you in all along the way to and from "whale country"!
Your whale watching boat will wait for you (all included in the price) as you join other whale watchers for a two hour cruise in Walker Bay while your very knowledgeable specialist whale guide shares with with you all the interesting facts about these graceful mammals. You will even receive you binoculars to have a closer look. On your return you will have the opportunity to visit some craft markets on a "whale watching square) or just stand on the rocks for more whale watching. Should you wish to have lunch on the squire we will recommend restaurants overlooking the bay (for additional whale watching).
Your panoramic drive continues after lunch (own account) at 2pm as your next very pleasant stop will be the breeding place of the African Penguins at "Stoney Point" on the rocks.- no need to pay entrance fees, as it's all been taken care of.Time permitting you can even visit a Botanical garden in the area. Furthermore you will be entertained by the spectacular views as you are driven on along one of the most beautiful coastal drives in South Africa on your way back. Arrival in the city should be around 5pm, in time to freshen up for your next South African experience.
