Launch from the quaint fishing harbour of Gansbaai and travel along the cliffs of De Keldar’s. There, you will find a nature reserve that has been proven to hold the highest concentration of whales in South Africa. The shallow waters allow the whales to mate and protect their calves.
The whales you can expect to see are known as Southern right whales. Similar to the North Atlantic and North Pacific right whales, they are considered different due to the shape of their skulls. Along the way, keep a look out for dolphins, caper fur seals, and sharks. You may also witness humpback, Minke, and Bryde's whales frolicking in the ocean. Finally, catch a glimpse at beautiful Orcas, False killer whales, and the African penguin.
Return back to the harbour at the end of your boating adventure.
