Come see and swim with the whale shark, the enormous but harmless biggest fish in the world. This great tour departs from Cancun during the whale shark season which is from May to September. You will have the unique opportunity to swim and snorkel with whale sharks, known as the gentle giant. Each tour has a limit of 10 people and you will have a certificated and professional guide, who have studied biology and know everything about the area and the whale sharks.At around 7am, you will be picked up from your hotel in Cancun or Riviera Maya. You'll receive an informative briefing at Marina La Amada and your certified guides will provide you with information about whale sharks and the area’s ecosystems. During the briefing there will be coffee, juice, water, fruit and bread/sweet rolls.
You'll depart from the marina at 8am towards the whale shark reserve in the surrounding waters of Isla Contoy. Once you find them, you will have the unique opportunity to snorkel with the biggest fish in the world. At 12:30pm, you will have lunch time on the boat just off the coast of Isla Mujeres, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world where you can go down to swim in the turquoise waters.
At around 1:30pm, you will be back at the marina and be transferred back to your hotel, reaching at around 2:30pm.
