This tour is taking you off the beaten track on a 4x4 Super Jeep tour in the highlands of Iceland. A highlight of this tour will be the visit of the manmade ice-cave on Langjökull, which is one of a kind in the world.
Our drive will start on the highlands road that is leading towards europe's 2nd biggest glacier Langjökull. Once we made it there we will get on an even bigger Jeep to access the glacier and make our way up to the ice cave. You will get enough time to explore the glacier and it's blue ice formations. Our next stop will be in Húsafell, where we are strengthening ourselves with a traditional icelandic meat soup. From there we are making our way to two of Icelands most beautiful waterfalls. Hraunafossar, which is a series of small waterfalls coming down an old lava field and Barnafoss. Along the way back to Reykjavik we will be stopping at Reykholt to learn a bit about Iceland's history, the biggest hot spring of Iceland and Hvalfördur. We expect to be back in Reykjavik by later afternoon.
