Great Langdale Valley Guided Walk
Wednesday - 25th May, 22nd June, 20th July, 17th August, 14th September and 12th October 2016
Starting from the bustling waterfall at Skelwith Bridge along a scenic trail that leads to Elterwater Tarn, home to migrating Whooper Swans and a wonderful view of the majestic Langdale Pikes, to historic Lakeland quarries and scenic sections of the Cumbria Way long distance footpath, this is a rewarding Lake District walk.
Loughrigg Terrace and Grasmere Guided Walk
Wednesday - 11th May, 8th June, 6th July, 3rd August, 31st August, 28th September and 26th October 2016
Whether this is your first walk in the English Lake District or you are a regular visitor to the region, this has to be one of the finest locations you can walk. Despite not being a mountain, Alfred Wainwright featured Loughrigg Fell in his pictorial guides to the Lakeland Fells, recognising the wonderful features and interesting history of this scenic landscape. And then to walk onto Loughrigg Terrace, with its view across Grasmere Lake as far as the eye can see to much loftier Lakeland fells, is a view to treasure.
Blea Tarn & Elterwater Guided Walk
Wednesday - 1st June, 29th June, 27th July, 24th August, 21st September and 19th October 2016
Enjoy the stunning view of the Langdale Pikes where the professional and amateur photographers view the Langdale Pikes from. A walk full of interest and Lakeland landmarks all in a rich landscape.
From the start, you head into a remote and beautiful wilderness with our first significant view point at Blea Tarn, an idyllic small lake, from where it has to be one of the finest locations to view the iconic Langdale Pikes.
Tarn Hows Guided Walk
Wednesday - 18th May, 15th June, 13th July, 10th August, 7th September and 5th October.
Visiting Tarn Hows is almost a rite of passage for anybody wishing to experience the beauty of the Lake District and it certainly is an idyllic place to walk set in a wooded landscape, surrounded by a selection of higher mountain fells. But first, the walk starts on the lakeshore of Coniston Water, one of the most iconic and tranquil of Cumbria’s lakes, wrapped up in the feats of Donald Campbell but also the famous Swallows & Amazons story. There is so much to enjoy on this guided walk from the scenery to the history of the Coniston area, brought to life by the tour leader.
