Enjoy an exhilarating ride perfect for intermediate to avid cyclists along the Blue Ridge Parkway on this weekend excursion. Pedal 64-miles through Virginia, beginning at Big Spy Overlook and ending at the Natural Bridge in Lexington. Stop for lunch, dinner, and wine tastings as you take on the challenge of the Blue Ridge Parkway.On Friday, meet your trip leader at either the Union Station at 1pm, located at 50 Massachusetts Avenue NE, or the King Street Metro Station at 1:45, located at 1900 King Street, for transportation to the Robert E. Lee Hotel. You can choose to drive yourself to the hotel, which is located at 30 South Main Street, Lexington, VA. Check-in at the hotel after 4pm and then sit down for a delicious dinner. 

The next morning, have breakfast and a meeting at 7am. Then, start your 31-mile ride for the day at 8am. Begin at the Big Spy Overlook and continue along the Parkway for 27 miles. At 12pm, stop for lunch. Descend the Afton Mountain to reach the Pollak Vineyards at 3pm for wine tastings of the area's finest vintage. After sampling the wine, take the shuttle back to Lexington at 4pm and have dinner.

Eat breakfast at 8am on Sunday morning and begin your 33-mile ride at 9am. Pedal to the Natural Bridge, which is the remains of an ancient cavern and where Cedar Creek runs through. Have lunch at 11:30am and then at 1pm ,wind your way back to Lexington. 

Your Blue Ridge experience comes to an end at 3pm, when you leave Lexington. Enjoy this unique combination of biking, mountains, and vineyards on this extraordinary 64-mile adventure.
