An experienced guide will take you on a beautiful and exciting hike that makes its way through varying micro-habitats then out and across the stunning white sands of Playuela Beach. You'll continue over the majestic bluffs along Vieques' gorgeous southern coast. The trail continues along and makes its way out to a secluded beach. It is the perfect private hideaway! You'll be led into the warm waters and head straight to a fan coral forest. You'll see a variety of micro-habitats including mangroves and wooded and coastal areas along this bewildering hiking trail. You also see an abundance of marine life including puffer fish, parrot fish, sergeant majors and possibly even spotted eagle-rays and dolphins. Your tour also includes a nice re-energizing meal from Bellybuttons before your trek back.

You'll continue over the majestic bluffs along Vieques' gorgeous southern coast. The trail continues along and makes its way out to a secluded beach. It is the perfect private hideaway! You'll be led into the warm waters and head straight to a fan coral forest. You'll see a variety of micro-habitats including mangroves and wooded and coastal areas along this bewildering hiking trail. You also see an abundance of marine life including puffer fish, parrot fish, sergeant majors and possibly even spotted eagle-rays and dolphins. Your tour also includes a nice re-energizing meal from Bellybuttons before your trek back.After meeting the group at 10am, everyone will jump into vehicles and head to the parking area. The adventure will begin along a dirt path under the luscious canopy of tropical trees. To the left there is a rocky hill lost in the bushes and a constantly changing landscape. At one moment the area is bush filled, and the next, it is a mangrove forest, and just a moment after it is a pink swamp. It is a truly amazing trail that exceeds expectations from the very start!
After approximately 20 minutes, the group will arrive at the white sands of Playuela Beach. This beach is semi-secluded due to the rough terrain to the East and West of it. This is a beach that is tucked away between two little cliffs, one to the East and the other to the West. Sea turtles often visit this beach and lay their eggs here so there is a high chance of seeing a little blocked off area where they may have found a nest. The tour now heads West and once again into the brush. The trail picks back up under large sea grape trees, over an old train track and up the rocky hill over from ancient volcanic activity. Upon arriving at the top of this little hill, you'll reach a point that words can't justly describe.
The tour continues along through a continuously changing landscape. Surprisingly enough, each area is completely new and looks nothing like the previous area. Next you'll arrive at the very tiny, very secluded Corcho Beach. There's nothing quite like a refreshing swim after a hike. From here the snorkeling portion of the tour will begin. After a brief rest, you'll get into gear and head off to see the beauty that lays below! After the snorkeling time, you are free to relax on the beach and enjoy a nice re-energizing meal to the backdrop of an untouched Caribbean wilderness. Once everyone has recharged, it is time to head back to the vehicles.
