Visit Schonbrunn Palace and Gardens on your second day before you start your trip to Bratislava in the afternoon. Tour this beautiful city by train, followed by a visit to the famous Chateau Topolcianky, where you will spend the night.
On your third day, your journey takes you to Slovakia's national breeding farm, renowned for their Lippizaner horses. Travel afterwards to the UNESCO World Heritage site and picturesque village of Vlkolinec hidden in the mountains. Head to a unique manor house in Liptovsky Jan later that day, where you will stay overnight.
Start your fourth day with a trip to the world famous High Tatras (High Tatra Mountains). You will first visit the famous large glacier mountain lake Strbske Pleso to then take a cable car up to Lomnicky Stit mountain peak from where you will be able to see Slovakia and Poland.
Stop at a traditional sheep farm in the morning of your fifth day and taste some of the farm's delicious sheep cheese and home-made cakes. Visit the famous Nosferatu Orava castle afterwards, which was built upon a rock above the river in the 13th century. Last on that day you will see a traditional open-air museum, where you will learn about the region’s cultures, customs and architecture.
Day 6 will take you north to Poland. Explore Krakow on a guided tour with a local guide and see all the city's highlights including Wawel Castle, St. Mary’s Church and Cloth Hall Market. Enjoy some free time in the afternoon to visit some of Krakow's many fascinating sights and museums on your own.
In the morning of your seventh day you will visit the concentration camps Auschwitz and Birkenau with a local guide. Before returning to Krakow you will be taken to the famous salt mine Wieliczka, another UNESCO World Heritage site. Admire the statues, altars and other elements engraved into the salt in the mine and return to Krakow in the evening. Take the opportunity to savor the city’s bustling restaurant scene and explore Krakow on your own.
Your eights day will start with a transfer from Krakow to Prague. Your journey will take you via Olomouc, which is also called 'small Prague' by the locals. Once in Prague, visit 'U Fleku', the oldest pub in the city, established just after America was discovered in 1499. Here you can decide for yourself whether Prague truly is the home of Europe’s finest beers...
On day nine you will be exploring Prague and its city highlights including a tour of Prague Castle.
