Meet your guide — an actor with the inside scoop on The Hunger Games — in central Atlanta, and then hop aboard an air-conditioned coach and set off to begin your tour of locations featured in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1. As you travel, listen to your guide share behind-the-scenes stories about the hugely popular movie saga, adapted from Suzanne Collins' bestselling novels.
Visit Swan House, featured in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1, as President Snow’s mansion. As you pull up by the house’s striking white façade, you can almost smell the sickly sweet scent of President Snow’s roses. Wander the grounds and ascend the concrete staircase as Katniss and Peeta did when they arrived at the Victory Tour party. Then, head inside for photos ops in the dining room and President Snow’s office, and to browse The Hunger Games exhibit, which features props and stills from the making of the films.
Explore, too, the Goat Farm Arts Center, where several key District 12 scenes were shot. Stand on the spot where the Reaping stage was constructed and see where Gale was whipped by the new head peacekeeper in the town square. Plus, stop for photos by "The Odds are Never In Our Favor" wall that Katniss and Peeta pass on the train to the Capitol.
Your guide also takes you to the Capitol. Head to several city locations where many of the Capitol scenes were filmed, including the hotel that was used as the tribute living quarters. The 52-story hotel's impressive atrium is a sight to see, as are the glass elevators where Johanna stripped down in front of Katniss, Peeta and Haymitch in Catching Fire.
Throughout your tour, join in trivia games to win prizes and pose for a souvenir photo with your group. After about three hours, your tour concludes back at the original start point.
