Day 1:
Start with an arrival transfer from Dubrovnik Airport to your 3- or 5-star Dubrovnik hotel. Check in and spend your day in Dubrovnik at leisure. The city is popular with visitors, boasting rich history and culture as well as countless sights. If you arrive with most of the day ahead of you, why not take a walk to Mount Srd? The rocky ridge looks out over the city, offering stunning vistas of the coast. Gaze out toward the Adriatic Sea and see if you can spot any Game of Thrones filming locations!
From January 1: Dinner is included at a restaurant that’s popular with the cast and crew.

Day 2: (B)
Enjoy breakfast, and then head out to meet your guide at Pile Square for your full-day Game of Thrones walking tour – a unique experience that’s only available through Viator! As you walk, hear little-known tales about the popular HBO TV series from your guide. Adapted from George Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire novels, the TV series dramatizes a fictional war between a collection of noble families who battle for the Iron Throne – a seat that rules Westeros and the fabled Seven Kingdoms.
Climb the old city walls that were attacked by the Baratheons, and then explore Lovrijenac Fortress – the 11th-century castle that features in many Game of Thrones battle scenes. Gaze down at fictional Blackwater Bay from the fort, and imagine the bloody Battle of Blackwater taking place outside of its walls.
Enjoy a break for lunch (own expense), and then hop aboard your minibus to travel to Trsteno Arboretum – one of the oldest parks in Croatia. Used as the gardens of King’s Landing palace during the third Game of Thrones series, Trsteno is a key filming site as well as the home of exotic plants. Explore it on a walking tour, learning about the War of the Five Kings and admiring the park’s architectural features. Your tour then finishes with a drop-off at Dubrovnik Old Town. Spend your evening at leisure.
From January 1: The afternoon at Trsteno is replaced with a visit to Lokrum island.

After breakfast, the day is yours to spend doing whatever you please.
