Bologna, Museo Della Resistenza: It collects original documents, photos, posters, multimedia products concerning the ant-fascist and partisan history, the Resistance of Bologna and of Republican Italy.
Sasso Marconi, Colle Ameno: The village of Borgo di Colle Ameno (Pleasant Hill) was born from the vision of the noble Bolognese Philip Carlo Ghisilieri, to build a core urban centre around his villa. During the Second World War, Colle Ameno was used by the Germans as a clearing house for the people captured during the mopping up operations.
Marzabotto: The largest massacre of civilians committed by the Germans in western Europe took place in Marzabotto. It was the focus of an intensive Partisan campaign by the Stella Rossa brigade.
Historical Park Monte Sole: Founded in 1989, the Park occupies nearly the whole area involved in the massacre. From the documentation center, it is possible to walk along some interesting routes.
Cippo Di Sabbiuno: This war memorial was erected in the seventies as an experiment of land art, one of the most important memorials of the Resistance in Bologna.
