Your tour starts as you are picked up from your centrally located hotel in Santiago and meet your guide. You'll board the vehicle and start the drive, ascending the Andes Mountain Range (Cordillera de los Andes) which is 30 miles (60 km) away from Santiago. You will drive through a sinuous road, with about 40 curves.
On the way, you will first stop at Farellones, one of the ski centers of the central zone. Here, you will have the opportunity to admire peaks and summits of altitudes reaching 2,700 meters high. In the winter, they'll all be covered in snow offering incredible scenery. Afterwards, you'll head to visit another famous ski center called El Colorado.
You'll continue the ascent for about 20 more curves to finally reach Valle Nevado. This center is located at an altitude of 3,000 meters (9,842 feet) high. During winter, this place also hosts one of the most important international snowboard competitions every year. You will have time to enjoy this place and later have lunch (not included).
At around 5pm, you'll head back to your hotel.
