Experience a thrilling 4-hour whitewater rafting adventure on the famous Roche Fendu rapids. Board a 6-person sport raft and brave Class 2 to Class 5 rapids. Professional guide, rafting equipment and a BBQ riverside lunch is included in this authentic and amazing river rafting trip.Your sport rafting experience starts with registration and check-in at 8:30am. Your trip leader will brief you on safety and water conduct to ensure a thrilling but safe adventure on the river.
After the safety briefing, you'll pick up your rafting gear and hop on the bus for a short ride to the top of the channel to board your raft and get out on the water. The first rapid of the day is just a short paddle away - the legendary "Phil's Hole" awaits. You'll be
able to hear the thunderous roar of this rapid long before you see it up close. Between each major rapid are short flat water stretches of gently flowing water - a great time for body surfing and floating along carefree with the current. A BBQ riverside lunch is served about halfway down the river before moving on the lower stretch of rapids. After app. 4 hours on the river and after running the last major rapid on the Ottawa River, you'll paddle into a private bay and finish the day right where it all began at the RiverRun 165-acre resort property.
You will have time to change into your dry clothes and head over to the pavilion to watch a video replay of your day on the Ottawa River.
