The walk is interpreted by local, tour guide and story teller Kenneth Dyke-Glover. Let him entertain you with stories of Salem’s Citizens throughout the centuries, from the witchcraft trials to the snake oil salesmen, writers, wealthy merchants and Puritan culture. If the mood strikes him he may even share some of the goods and chronicle of the day he has gleaned from the local papers.
The tour guide is a Quaker, whose Quaker predecessors in Salem were suspected by the Puritans of cavorting with the Devil, practicing heresy, and Witchcraft. He is also a spirit medium and is written about in two books on magic “Not in Kansas anymore: A curious tale of how magic is transforming America.” by Christine Wicker and The Witches’ Book of the Dead by Christian Day.
