You can either have a go "pulling ropes" or sit back and enjoy the views as the sun sets over Sydney. You'll feel like part of the crew by the end of the race! This luxury yacht races twice a week in the twilight races hosted by the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia on Wednesday nights and Royal Australian Navy Sailing Association on Friday nights.

Join the excitment of twilight racing on Sydney Harbour aboard a 58-foot custom built luxury yacht. You can either have a go "pulling ropes" or sit back and enjoy the views as the sun sets over Sydney. You'll feel like part of the crew by the end of the race! This luxury yacht races twice a week in the twilight races hosted by the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia on Wednesday nights and Royal Australian Navy Sailing Association on Friday nights.Make your way to Rose Bay by 4:45pm and jump on the boat as it is being set up for racing. Receive a pre-race briefing and basic sailing instruction from the friendly crew and get prepared for the race from Ruschutters Bay to Watsons Bay and back.
Several experienced crew will sail the boat around the course and give you some instruction if you want to get involved. The crew are there to try and win the race but also make sure that everyone on board has a great time.
Return to the wharf around 7:30pm (times can vary depending on the wind) feeling like part of the crew. Enjoy a post race drink on board (optional) before heading to the yacht club for the race results and refreshments (optional).
Please wear flat white soled shoes, comfortable clothing and a spray jacket and bring something warm (just in case).
