Join on this amazing, 5 hour kayak and snorkel tour! The tour starts on the Southwest side of St. Thomas at Lindbergh Beach (parking and entrance are free). Be amazed by majestic sea turtles in their natural habitat and the coral gardens at the two snorkel spots you will visit on this trip. This is the tour for anyone who wants to get a taste of the open seas and cross a short channel to an island off the coast of St. Thomas.
Upon arriving at Lindbergh Bay Beach, the eco-guide will provide all of the necessary gear you will need for the trip, a safety briefing and kayak lesson with techniques. The guide will then give you an assisted launch and accompany you on a paddle along the peninsula, providing breaks and information about the area before you start the paddle across the channel. Your guide will then lead you over to a small island just off the coast of St. Thomas where you will land at a beautiful, sandy beach. Kayaking is approximately 1.5 miles in distance each way and includes open sea kayaking. This trip is appropriate for active and fit guests as some parts are more challenging due to winds and currents, so be sure to prepare for an adventure!
When you arrive on the beach, you will be provided with bottled water and a snack. You will have a chance to rest before your snorkel lesson. Then your guide will take you snorkeling in a protected bay where you will hopefully see multiple sea turtles. Next, you'll join your guide who will take you on a short paddle to a small beach along the peninsula. After helping you off your kayaks, the guide will wade out from the beach with you to take you snorkeling over a coral reef. If conditions are right, your guide can show you the ship wreck outside of the reef. The tour wraps up with a paddle back across the channel and through Lindbergh Bay.
