Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula offers some of the most scenic and challenging river rafting in North America. Sometimes, however, all you really want to do is get out on the water, kick back, and let the current slowly take you across the beautiful Alaskan landscape.
Your trip begins at either 9am or 2pm, depending on which time you choose. After arriving at the facility, you will be fitted with a life jacket, helmet, and paddle and go through a brief orientation to ensure you stay safe while on the water. Then it’s time to climb into your raft and start the fun. After launch, you'll be treated to a slow moving creek with virtually no whitewater to speak of. Paddle across the stream or pull up and kick back - you have three hours to enjoy the trip. Look for wildlife, as bears, moose, and deer are often spotted along the river banks.
The Turnagain Pass float is meant for families hoping to enjoy a day out on the water without risking the high-adrenaline whitewater rapids of Sixmile creek. Before entering the Canyon, you will pull out, dry off, and enjoy a brief ride back to your vehicles.
