Meet our driver/guide on the Royal Mile and go on a mystical journey as we take you through the Trossachs region. Stopping at Loch Lomond you can walk the shores for an hour and take photos of scenery that you have to see to believe. Loch Lomond is often referred to as Rob Roy country as these parts are where Roby Roy McGregor inhabited for periods of his life.
Continuing the journey will see the tour stop at the famous Doune Castle where 'Outlander', 'Game of Thrones' and 'Monty Python' have all been filmed. You can take the tour if you wish (own expense) or walk through the lovely gardens weather permitting.
If you are getting hungry or feel the need to have a shop, then you will love spending some time at the Doune Antiques Centre. You will have time here to shop for something quirky or sit down and enjoy some refreshments in the cafe (own expense).
The journey continues to Deanston Distillery where you can take the tour (own expense) and taste a wee dram or sit and enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the distillery cafe.
After this stop the tour will then set off on it's return journey to Edinburgh where you can recall tales of amazing sights with family an friends.
