A short drive along the scenic northwest coast dotted with marinas and yacht clubs brings us to a secluded bay where we begin the zipping experience. After receiving instructions, a waiver and guidelines, the adventure begins. Time to fly through the sky!

There are 7 lines and 5 canopy walks and net bridges overlooking the majestic Caribbean Sea and lush forest. The highest cable is approximately 100 feet up and the longest cable is about 500 feet long. It takes about forty-five minutes to an hour to glide through the course. We zip from platform to platform with beautiful scenery greeting us at every turn! The zipline is internationally certified, meaning it has a double harness.

After this, we take either a swim in the refreshing waters of the bay and look for some tropical fish or take an easy hike through the cool forest up to Edith Falls. The trail passes through a tonka bean plantation, rainforest and bamboo, until we reach the falls. The 250-foot fall is best visited during the rainy season, otherwise the water pressure can be a bit low. However, the scenery and height of the rock face is very impressive. You might also hear the sound of the Red Howler monkeys that frequently visit this area.

The last stop offers fantastic panoramic views of Port of Spain. Fort George towers at a height of 72 meters above sea level and overlooks Port of Spain, Central and South Trinidad - to the west we can see as far as Venezuela! What a beautiful, breezy spot and the best way to finish an energizing day!
