Private guided trekking tours around beautiful Cetina canyon, in the town of Omis, just half an hour away from Split airport.
Due to Omiš' amazing position between a river estuary, sea and mountains, with Mosor and Biokovo touching shoulders just above it, we are proud to present a variety of trekking programs. According to your preferences and physical condition, you can choose between light treks lasting just two hours, or jump to medium ones, which will show you all the hidden beauty of river Cetina Canyon and the surrounding area. Scenery itself is full of cracks, funnel-shaped holes and round karsts valleys, with different trees and plants growing by the path . A lot of birds and small animals dwell here. Not to be missed is a Starigrad – Fortica fortress, built in the 15th century, where you will enjoy most splendid views, covering both Brac and Hvar channel. We have prepared a strenuous trip to reach it, a beautiful and demanding 4 hours long combination of extreme trekking and rock climbing.
All of our guides have vast experience, most of them are either employees or members of Croatian Mountain Rescue Service (CMRS gathers the fittest Croatian rock climbers, speleologists, mountaineers and skiers, specially trained in administering of first aid and in all mountain rescue techniques, including helicopter-aided rescuing and search parties in rugged terrain involving the use of rescue dogs. Croatian Mountain Rescue Service has around 500 members, including 25 medical doctors and 12 instructors). Your safety is our top priority.
It's necessary to take trekking shoes and trousers to protect you from sharp plants, growing by the paths. It is also possible to take some time for swimming in the river (depending on the trek you select) so you will need your bathing suit. You're taking your camera at your own responsibility.
