Day 1 – Thursday
SOFIA
Arrival in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. Airport transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free.
In the evening, dinner at a traditional Bulgarian restaurant.

Day 2–Friday
SOFIA–PLOVDIV–VELIKO TARNOVO
- Sightseeing tour of Sofia: Saint Alexander Nevski Cathedral – one of the largest Eastern Orthodox cathedrals in Europe, Saint George Roman Rotunda, Saint Sophia Basilica, the Ruins of Serdica, etc.
- Visit Plovdiv the second largest city after Sofia.
Overnight in Veliko Tarnovo.
Day 3–Saturday
VELIKO TARNOVO–ARBANASSI– RUSE (BG)–BUCHAREST (RO)
- Tour of Veliko Tarnovo medieval city
- Visit Arbanassi medieval village
- Visit the ruins of Nicopolis ad Istrum, former Roman town
- Visit Ivanovo Churches*, UNESCO heritage
* officially they are closed between December 1st and March 31st but sometimes they are open even during this period

FULL DAY TOUR OF BUCHAREST
- Sightseeing tour of Bucharest including: walking tour in the Revolution Square and old city center, panoramic tour, visit the Palace of the Parliament and the Village Museum.

- Visit Curtea de Arges Monastery
- Visit Cozia Monastery

- Walking tour in Sibiu, awarded with the official title of 2007 European Capital of Culture.
- Visit Biertan fortified church, UNESCO
- Walking tour in Sighisoara medieval citadel, UNESCO heritage, the birthplace of Vlad the Impaler (Dracula)
- Panoramic tour of Targu Mures.

CLUJ NAPOCA–SURDESTI–SAPANTA–SIGHET–VADU IZEI
- Visit Surdesti wooden church, UNESCO.
- Visit Merry Cemetery.
- Visit the highest wooden structure in the world: Peri Convent.
- Visit Sighet communist prison
- Visit a local guest house and meet a wonderful family, Enjoy a rich dinner

- Walking tour of Brasov: the Black Church, the Rope Street, Schei and Catherine’s Gates.
- Visit Bran Dracula's castle
