Visit the Valley of the Kings, the burial palace of the pharaohs of the New Kingdom (1550 – 1080 BC), you will see 3 tombs of the most famous Pharaohs ruled from Luxor, Like Ramses IV tomb, The Tomb of Merenptah, son of Ramses II, the tomb of Thutmose III, the founder of the ancient Egyptian Empire, Ramses III tomb, Ramses I, Queen Tawosret Tomb and more
Guides are not allowed inside the tombs, but your guide will tell you what to look for inside the elaborately decorated tombs. There is an additional cost to visit the tomb of king Tutankhamon & Ramses VI.
Continue to visit the temple mortuary of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, the temple was carved at the bottom of the mountain cliff. Queen Hatshepsuit temple is unique in its design by the three terraces follow each other, discover the fantastic of the trading mission to the land of Punt (Somalia), Learn about Hatshepsut’s divine birth and how she convinced the Egyptian that she is the daughter of the god Amon, the principal god of Luxor. Returning back to Luxor, there will be time for a brief photo stop at the colossi of Memnon, which marks the site of a funerary temple of Amenhotep III. These two giant statues standing tall, and proud on the west bank are sadly all that remains of the ancient complex.
In addition, you will have the chance to visit an alabaster factory and purchase genuine items, if you wish.
After finishing, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Luxor
