The Dead Sea along with the Baptism Site of Jesus Christ, the world’s lowest location on earth- 400 meters below sea level, is one of the most spectacular and breathtaking landscapes in the world. Sparsely populated and serene, the area is surrounded by mountains to the east and rolling hills to the west giving the Dead Sea its unique beauty.
Your day will start at 09.00am with a tour of Bethany Beyond the Jordan, the site were Jesus was Baptized by John the Baptist. Your driver will meet you at your hotel lobby or other locations in Amman in the morning with a journey to the lowest location on Earth. As you arrive to the Holy Site of Bethany Beyond the Jordan, your driver will assist to arrange your tour and tickets. To reach the Holy Site, you will have the choice of either the shuttle bus that comes on the hour or you have the choice to walk the path, a self-guided path to the River Jordan. Once you reach the River and the Church located along the River, you will have the opportunity to dip and take photos. After walking the path back to the entrance, your driver will be waiting at the agreed meeting location.
Next, your tour will take you to one of the Hotel Resorts at the Dead Sea to experience the therapeutic benefits of the Dead Sea, a combination of climatic conditions and the elements of the sun, water, mud, and the air, have been known to be very beneficial to rejuvenate and relax the body Your driver will assist with your entrance and guide you to the largest private beach at the Dead Sea to float, sunbath, swim and just relax plus the choice of fresh water pools, along with changing rooms if you choose.
