This full-day tour begins at Munich Central Station, from where you will take the train to Füssen (at own expense) early in the morning. Visit Neuschwanstein Castle, Hohenschwangau Castle, Oberammergau village as well as Linderhof Castle. Sight-see along the Alps and Lake Plansee through the Austrian Border before you make your way back to Munich on the train (approx. 2-hour ride) from Fuessen (at own expense). Departing early in the morning from Munich by train (at own expense), the guided part of your full-day tour starts at 9:15am in Fuessen. The first stops will be the Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau Castles, where you will have about 3-4 hours to see both castles as well as the surrounding area.
Next, you will go to Linderhof Castle, Oberammergau , where you will see the highlights of Austria along with the mountain lake Plansee and the beautiful scenery of the Alps.
The guided tour will end around 6pm in Füssen, from where you can make your way back to Munich by train (at own expense) whenever you're ready. The train ride is about 2 hours and will take you through the Bavarian countryside.
