Day 1: Depart Manchester, New Hampshire for Lake George, New York. Enjoy an an all-you-can-eat lunch at the Golden Coral Included in tour price). Wine and cheese will be waiting upon hotel check in. Depart the hotel just before 5:00 PM to be at the airport in time to watch the balloons lift off at 6:00 PM. Lunch included.
Day 2: For those that want to see the Sunrise Balloon Lift Off, coffee and pastry will be available before departing for the airport at 5:00 AM. We will return to the hotel after lift off for a full buffet breakfast. We will then depart for Gore Mountain where you will have the opportunity to look for precious gemstones. You never know who will be lucky enough to find gemstones. No special tools or skills are required and if you should find a garnet of gemstone quality the mineral shop will cut it, polish it and turn it into jewelry for you. On our way back to the hotel we will stop for lunch and a visit to the outlet stores. A stop will be made at Adirondack Chocolate for a tour and tasting. Tonight we will feature dinner at the hotel with a mini moon glow via tethered balloons and music followed by fireworks over the lake. Breakfast and dinner included.
Day 3: Before departing Lake George, enjoy a lunch cruise aboard the Lac du Saint Sacrement: the largest of the Lake George cruise ships. Cruise the lake at midday while enjoying lunch & entertainment in her elegant dining room. As Thomas Jefferson once stated, “Lake George is without comparison, the most beautiful water I ever saw; formed by a contour of mountains into a basin…finely interspersed with island, its water limpid as crystal, and the mountain sides covered with rich groves…down to the water-edge: here and there precipices of rock to checker the scene and save it from monotony.” Breakfast and lunch included.
