Live the experience in the magic village of Tequila on this half-day cultural tour from Guadalajara. You will get to harvest the fields of agave, taste tequila at a distillery and learn all about this famous drink.After hotel pickup in the morning, you will start your journey towards the town of Tequila at 10am. You will arrive to Casa Herradura Distillery (Hacienda San Jose del Refugio) at 11am where you will be able to tour the facilities and see the process of tequila-making from the harvesting to the aging of the drink.
Tequila Herradura is one of the most famous and great Tequila brands and it's the only one of the distilleries in the tequila trail that still has the old factory that has been up since 1800. You will learn all about this famous drink and taste different kinds of tequila including reposado and anejo. You'll also get to visit the agave fields and see how the process begins.
Then, you'll visit the magic town (Pueblo Magico) of Tequila, Jalisco where you can have lunch (not included) or see the town and buy souvenirs before heading back to Guadalajara.
