Take the opportunity to enjoy Tenerife’s most beautiful scenic locations. Starting on the south-west coast of the island, views are dominated by Los Gigantes.
Passing through the village of Santiago del Teide and onto the Erjos mountains, we reach the plateau of the volcano where we can see the splendours of Mount Teide with her numerous colours and rock formations.
Heading north we pass through El Tanque, where we stop at Mirador de Garachico (observation platform) to see this small village that was partly destroyed by a volcanic eruption in 1706 and onto Icod de los Vinos, where we visit the famous Dragon tree -approx 3000 years old. Our next stop is La Orotava.
A magnificent old town full of history, art and architecture with the opportunity to walk through to La Casa de los Balcones and its artisan centre that offers typical embroidery and other products.
Then, we make a brief stop in Mirador de Humbolt, before heading back to the South. Our day finishes in Candelaria, where we see the black Madonna, patron saint of the Canary Islands.
