All tours start with a tasting with a coffee roaster who talks about his passion for the culture of coffee and roasting. We visit a master butcher who will talk about all the different cuts of meat and how the trade has changed over the years. We also visit an Asian Supplier where we'll see a vast range of products from Vietnam, Thailand, Japan and China and many more.
From there, we visit a French Cheese importer where we learn about and taste a variety of French Cheeses. The half day Tour of Wellington ends here and those on the Taste of Wellington continue for lunch followed by a sweet treat visit at a Gelateria. Those on The Full Day Experience will have the additional tastings at a Turkish Delight manufacturer followed by a visit to an Indian Spice Shop where you can taste a range of Indian Sweets and learn about all the spices and different rices.
This is followed by a visit to a well-known Food Emporium where you can learn and taste foods from around the world. The itinerary may change due to availability of the operators but the alternative will be just as good. All tours fully include transport.
