Your first stop will be at Cabot Creamery where you will have a tour of the factory and learn how Vermont milk is turned into cheese and other dairy products. After the tour you will be taken to the tasting room where you will have the opportunity to purchase and taste several varieties of cheese. In peak season tastings may be done at the Cabot cheese annex store and the factory tour will be eliminated. We will head west to Montpelier for a photo stop of the State House. On Sunday brunch will be at the New England Culinary Institute.
Our next stop is Cold Holler Cider for lunch featuring products made in Vermont. You will see and taste fresh pressed cider as well as the old-fashioned apple cider doughnuts. This is a great spot to shop for Vermont made products. Next it is on to Ben & Jerry’s where you will tour the ice-cream factory and taste whatever flavor is being made that day.
The tour will end when we return you to your departure point.
