The Old Coffee Pot Cooking Class and Luncheon
Not only has The Old Coffee Pot been a staple restaurant in the French Quarter for more than 100 years but it was also featured on the Food Network’s hit traveling cooking show Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives with host Guy Fieri. Our fabulous cooking class will demonstrate how to make the famous Fleur-de-lis Chicken, a tasty combination of everything Guy tried when he visited The Old Coffee Pot on Triple D.
Fleur-de-lis Chicken is a chicken breast topped with Louisiana crab cake and Gulf shrimp, served with green bean casserole and The Old Coffee Pot’s jambalaya.
Sit back, relax and savor the fun as Old Coffee Pot's Chef prepares this delectable dish. Feel free to take pictures, jot down notes and ask questions to full experience this unique dish firsthand. In addition to the professional chef, you will have a knowledgeable host to verbally walk you through the history of Cajun and Creole cuisine, discussing cooking techniques, seasoning and recipes. After the cooking demonstration is over, get ready for lunch! You'll receive your own Fleur-de-lis Chicken!
The Lunch Bell Ringeth! Come hungry!
