This is what you can expect from your multi-day active trip:
Day 1
Arrival to town of Foča, between 3pm and 6pm. After a short break at the local supplier's agency, your trip continues to Šćepan Polje (border crossing between Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro), where you are going to park your vehicles at secure parking lot with security service. From this spot, transport is organised by the agency’s 4x4 vehicles to the camp, by 7pm. Drive along Tara Canyon in a very pleasant environment. At the camp, accommodation in the mountain huts. Dinner around 8pm (On the menu are local ethno specialties: rousted lamb, veal, prosciutto…). Nice evening by the camp fire.
Day 2
After breakfast and preparations to 11:30 am (everyone gets rafting gear, wet suit, boots, life jacket, helmet, paddle) rafting follows along most exciting part of Tara River. Rafting lasts around 3-4 hrs with the breaks for photo safari, swimming and refreshment. From the end point of rafting, Šće-pan Polje, mouth of rivers Tara and Piva, set back by our 4x4 vehicles to the base camp, where lunch awaits for you. (On the menu are local ethno specialties: rousted veal, fish and other dishes of ethno cuisine…) After lunch afternoon at leisure, swimming, fishing, hiking around the camp and upon request visit to the old suspension bridge. Around 9pm diner by the camp fire and afterwards all evening leisure, 'live' music, etc.
Day 3
After breakfast by 8 am follows preparations to visit primeval forest Perućica largest primeval forest in Europe. Transport by 4x4 vehicles to 'Dragos sedlo' viewpoint at 1306 meters altitude, and after we park our vehicles we enter the forest and have opportunity to take photos of waterfall Skakavac at the very heart of the forest. We leave the forest and after 15 minutes drive we reach viewpoint Prijevor at altitude of 1668m. An impressive sight on surrounding mountains: Maglic tallest in Bosnia with 2386m, and also Zelengora and Volujak. Upon arrival to Prijevor, a short hiking tour follows and visit to shepherd settlements nearby, and afterwards picnic in the nature. Return to Tjentiste around 4pm with option to visit to memorial Sutjeska Battle (WWII) by 5pm. Transport to Foca by 6pm where the arrangement ends.
