Check-in at the Cairns skydive departure lounge, conveniently located on Lake Street or enjoy a free Hotel pickups to all CBD hotels. You’ll then be transferred to the skydive base, the closest full service, fully self-contained skydiving centre to Cairns an approximate 60 minute drive.
The skydiving centre has all the facilities to make your day a comfortable and enjoyable one including customer lounge areas, entertainment areas, a large safe landing and public viewing areas with lush tropical gardens at the skydiving to be enjoyed as you wait for your flight.
On arrival, meet your expert skydiving instructor who will provide a safety briefing, skydiving instruction and make sure that you are fitted with all of the necessary equipment.
Once you have your gear and harness secured, follow your instructor to the skydiving airplane. As your plane climbs to jump altitude, gaze out over they spectacular Great Barrier Reef.
When you reach jump altitude, your highly-trained skydiving instructor securely fastens your harnesses together, checks all of the equipment and then gives the signal for the two of you to jump.
Exiting the plane at 14,000 feet (4,267 meters), feel the excitement as you free fall at high speed before your instructor releases the parachute. Then enjoy the peaceful sensation taking in the amazing views and magnificent coastline.
About five minutes after your parachute opens, your instructor takes you into a gentle landing. Enjoy the exhilaration of your jump, then return your gear before being transferred back to Cairns.
