Talkeetna Wilderness Jet Boat Tour

You tour guide will pick you up in Anchorage and do a fully guided tour during the scenic 2 hour drive toTalkeetna.  Upon arrival you will be treated to a hearty Alaskan meal before you arrive at the Jet Boat. Your 2-hour jet tour will begin aboard an enclosed jet boat, as it whisks you into the heart of the wilderness in comfort. As you travel twenty miles of river wilderness, your Naturalist will talk about the rivers in the area, as well as information about Mt McKinley. You will have opportunities to view nesting bald eagles and beavers who seem to work every hour that the long light of summer provides. Upon arriving at our adventure site, we’ll take a leisurely ¼-mile nature walk to a Dena'ina Indian Encampment. The Dena’ina have lived in these lands since time immemorial. Then it’s off to an authentic trapper’s cabin with original furnishings. Learn how early trappers in this region lived in "Bush" Alaska at the turn of the century.Itineraries may vary slightly due to the Jet Boat having multiple departures.  We will always have pick ups in Anchorage between 9:00am-9:30am in our extremely comfortable Sprinter Vans.  Snacks and bottled glacier water are complimentary during the 2 hour drive to Talkeetna.  Photo stops will be made along the Parks highway to hopefully catch a glimpse of Denali before getting to Talkeetna!  Outdoor gear is not required, however it is highly recommended.

12:30pm - Check in for Jet Boat Tour
1:00pm - Depart for Jet Boat Tour
3:00pm - Return from Jet Boat Tour
3:30pm - Depart from Talkeetna
6:00pm - Arrive in Anchorage
