Have you ever wondered what life was like for the convicts and first settlers? Enjoy this historical walking tour of city and finish up at the newest park in Sydney, Barangaroo.Have you ever wondered what life was like for the convicts and first settlers? Although British authorities first planned to set up their penal colony in Botany Bay, the First Fleet of convicts only stayed in Botany Bay for a few days and then set sail around the coast to Sydney Harbour, where the colony was established. Since then, Sydney Harbour has continued to play an important part in the development of the nation.

On this Thursday evening , put on your walking shoes for a 90 minute historical walk through the Rocks and end your day at the magnificent Barangaroo Reserve and the Cutaway cultural space within the park with a picnic.

Spend time with new and old friends in Barangaroo waterfront park enjoying a selection of finger foods. Picnic blanket supplied.

Barangaroo is the most important reinvention of Sydney’s historic centre for decades. The precinct is a globally significant, 22-hectare, AUD$6+ billion waterfront renewal project that redefines the western edge of Sydney Harbour. It will be a lasting legacy of 21st Century urban renewal for future generations.
