You can stay on one trip with the same group and travel in the minimum time for a tour-type experience (itinerary below) or spend longer by getting on and off the bus/train at different places. All transport over your set pass route is included in one direction, once. Passes are valid for 12 months.
Travel Day: Sydney — Barrington Tops
Depart Sydney and head to the Hunter Valley area for a wine tasting, then head to the stunning stop on the edge of Barrington Tops National Park (a World Heritage-listed area).
Travel Day: Barrington Tops — Spot X Surf Camp
In the morning, take a guided walk to check out the amazing wildlife. Visit a koala hospital, then travel on to waterfront accommodation at Spot X.
Travel Day: Spot X — River Retreat
Today you will have the chance to relax or participate in beach activities before heading to the River Retreat.
Travel Day: River Retreat — via Spot X — Byron Bay
Leave the camp early and head up towards Byron Bay, Australia’s famous surf and arts town.

Explore, party or just relax and take in the laid-back, hippy vibe.
Travel Day: Byron Bay — Noosa or Rainbow Beach
Cruise into the Gold Coast and Brisbane then travel on to the beach resort town of Noosa. Hop off here or continue onto Rainbow Beach for the night.
Travel Day: Rainbow Beach — Country Campout via Noosa
Catch the train and travel to a remote Aussie farm experience for the night. Tonight you will stay in traditional swags under the stars or under cover, or stay in Emu Park for a bed-only option.
Travel Day/Night: Country Campout — Overnight Train — Airlie Beach
You will have the whole morning on the farm. In the evening catch the train and travel overnight to Airlie Beach – the gateway to the beautiful Whitsunday Islands.
Travel Day: Airlie Beach — Magnetic Island
There is much to explore on the island, as nearly 70% of it is National Park with amazing beaches and abundant wildlife.
Travel Day: Magnetic Island — Indigenous Camp
Travel by train south to Tully; you have the option of staying in Tully at a historic hotel (for hostel prices) or taking part in Loka’s exclusive Indigenous Rainforest Experience. Enjoy a variety of indigenous cultural activities.
Travel Day: Indigenous Camp – Cairns
In the morning, enjoy a big breakfast, then head off for an interpretative walk into the national park. Travel to Cairns by train arriving late afternoon.
