Enjoy this workshop that is led by a professional sushi chef, who will teach you how to cut and prepare sushi. At the end of class, you will eat what you have prepared. All of fish that you will be using will be high-quality and very fresh. The class will be held both in English and Japanese.Once you arrive to the designated venue, you can get ready for an authentic sushi experience. You will cut sushi, roll maki and learn about the art of sushi-making from a professional.
First, you will learn how to prepare the fish. You will get raw fish to cut and be instructed on how to do so. You will prepare Maguro (tuna), Ikura (salmon roe) and three or four other kinds of fish, depending on the catch of the day. You can be assured that the fish that you will be using, will be of a high-quality.
You will then be given a big container of sushi rice from which you will make small rice balls to be the base of the sushi. Later, you will put the raw fish and rice together to make the sushi. You will also be using real wasabi root that you will grind yourself! You will also be taught how to make maki, or sushi rolls.
At the end of the class, you will be able to try what you have created.
