Berlin, known for its cultural landmarks and history, has evolved through the ages. Explore the political changes that have impacted the city, and discover how Berlin has reinvented itself to emerge as one of the hottest spots to visit in Europe. On our ultimate Berlin travel experience, you'll visit original sites of World War II and the Holocaust, visit remnants of the Berlin Wall, enjoy delicious samples from the oldest chocolate factory in the city and more. Your guide will be equipped with booklets of photos, maps and original documents, making this tour experience all the more memorable. Take a step back in history and visit some of the original sites of World War II. After meeting your guide at a predetermined location, you'll stop by the Reichstag, a historical building constructed to house the Imperial Diet of the German Empire. The Reichstag fire of 1933 gave the Nazis pretext to blame the communists and seize power; in 1945, it was bombed by soviets during the Battle of Berlin.

Afterward, make your way toward the Brandenburg Gate; once the symbol of division during the Cold War, it now epitomizes German reunification. Along the way you'll see the beautiful Pariser Platz, one of the city's main focal point.

Continuing, you'll walk through the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of European. Resembling an abstract field of wheat in the wind, the memorial commemorates the Jewish victims of the Holocaust. You'll then make your way toward the Topography of Terror Documentation Center, the former headquarters of the Gestapo and the Secret State Police. The center has been remodeled as an open-air exhibit that documents the brutalness that occurred within.

As you make your way toward Berlin's Wall, you'll hear stories about life in a divided Germany. Along the way, you'll visit Checkpoint Charlie, which once acted as the main gateway for non-Germans between the two Berlins during the Cold War. At the Berlin Wall, you'll pass the site where one of the first victims of Berlin Wall's border guards, Peter Fechter, was shot without warning when trying to pass to West Berlin.

After visiting the Berlin Wall, we'll make our way Gendarmenmarkt, which ranks as Berlin's most elegant square. Next we take in some of Berlin’s grand boulevards, including Friedrichstraße and Unter den Linden, the historic location where the infamous book burning of 1933 took place. We'll then head toward Berlin's Humboldt University, one of the city's oldest universities.

As we conclude our tour, we'll stop by one of Berlin's oldest chocolate makers, where the city's most iconic landmarks are rebuilt in chocolate. It's a sight to behold - and of course, you'll get to savor a delicious treat. We'll end our tour near world famous museums, beautiful old churches and hidden gems for you to uncover. On Saturdays, there's even a quirky flea market! Be sure to discover, enjoy and discuss Berlin with us on this unique Berlin tour adventure!
