Start at He’eia State Park where you get instruction on how to paddle your SUP, then test your balance as you paddle around the Sunken Island sandbar, an ancient Hawaiian fishpond, or a pristine coral reef where you can also snorkel. Wrap up your adventure with a barbecue lunch on the beach. This tour — suitable for all skill levels — includes hotel pickup and drop-off, all SUP and snorkeling equipment, drinking water and lunch. From your Waikiki hotel, enjoy a provided morning ride to the beach at He’eia State Park where you'll meet an experienced guide who has your standup paddleboard and other equipment ready to go.

Receive a safety briefing and detailed instruction on paddling and steering, then get started with some practice on the water. Once you have the hang of it, follow your guide to some of the most gorgeous spots on Kaneohe Bay. Depending on the day’s conditions, and the skill level of the group, you might paddle out to the Sunken Island sandbar, visit an ancient Hawaiian fishpond site or check out one of the many coral reef systems in the sheltered bay.

No matter where you end up, a variety of colorful fish, sea turtles, spotted eagle rays, manta rays and other creatures can be seen in the calm, clear waters of the reef-protected bay. Your guide can take you to great snorkel and swim spots to see them up close.

After three hours of paddling, swimming and snorkeling, hunger is bound to strike. Back on the beach, you can shower off and change into dry clothes while the staff prepares a delicious barbecue lunch. Relax over a leisurely meal and take in the spectacular waterfront scenery of He’eia State Park.

At the end of the 3-hour paddleboarding and snorkeling experience in paradise, you are returned to your Waikiki hotel.
